The polished leather is thicker than the regular leather and perfect when you want a stiffer boot but also a boot that is easy to clean. The polished leather has been treated with layers of heated wax which give a flat and glossy surface.
We recomend the polished leather mostly for our dressage models since the leahter might be a bit to firm if you as a jumping rider use short stirrups.
During the final stage of the boot production the boots are polished with a rotation brush that gives those beautiful shifts in the color.
The thickness of the leather might vary but is normally between 22-25 mm.
