About Amazona Sueca

Background

Amazona Sueca means freely translated "Swedish equestrienne" in Portuguese and it was exactly that Johanna Ljungmark, Amazona Sueca's founder, was for a few years.

She worked as a rider for an ambitious horse owner in Sao Paolo. Hipica Paulista is an incredibly distinguished facility, one of the best in the world so it was an extremely stimulating environment to work in. Riding the whole day torn at the equipment and she was hinted at a talented cobbler who made custom boots for her colleagues. He also became Amazona's first supplier. When Johanna then came back to Sweden, her colorful boots aroused great attention and she got several inquiries how to get hold of them and on that way it is.

Amazona Sueca today

Today, we are a company specializing in high quality, handmade leather products. The range includes everything from riding boots to short boots, sporty sneakers and a variety of accessories.

We love to manage and deepen the uniqueness in each person through our custom-made products that are specially ordered according to the customer's wishes - we represent the opposite to mainstream and mass production. All boots are made to measure and extremely well made and comfortable.

Product manufacturing

The leather comes from free-range animals. Our manufacturers are hand picked and we cooperate primarily with smaller Portuguese family businesses with good working conditions, environmental awareness and great passion for what they do.

Be you

We encourage our customers to dare to be themselves and our ability to offer handmade custom-made products in a variety of colors, models and patterns according to style and taste makes us unique.
